THE RISE OF XAVIER NEWTON

December 1, 2025 by Thunder Walker

WHY I TAKE CONTENT CREATION SERIOUSLY — AND HOW I’M BECOMING ONE OF THE TOP CREATORS IN MY STATE

People often underestimate what it takes to be a full-time creator. They think it’s just posting a picture or filming a quick video. But for me, content creation became a career the moment I decided to treat it like one. From the beginning, I knew creativity was the lane I was meant to build and dominate. I wasn’t chasing trends; I was shaping a signature — something people could recognize instantly, even before my name was attached to it.

As I grew, my work began speaking for itself. People could tell when a piece was mine based on the style, the tone, the emotion, and the way the story unfolded visually. I didn’t just edit videos. I didn’t just take photos. I built a brand through the way I saw the world, and that became my identity as a creator.

But with originality comes imitation. I noticed people sitting close, not because they genuinely supported me, but because they wanted access to my ideas. I had friends and collaborators take my concepts and try to pass them off as their own. And yes, at first it hit me. But eventually I learned something important: people can copy your style, but they can never recreate the source. They can imitate what you do, but they can’t duplicate who you are.

That realization made me sharper. It made me private. It made me intentional. I stopped telling everyone what I was working on and started revealing projects only when the time was right. Not out of fear — out of respect for my own creativity. My ideas are valuable, and not everyone deserves access to them.

And even through the copying, jealousy, and betrayal, one thing always remained true: I inspire people. Whether they admit it or not, my creativity pushes others to dream bigger. I’ve helped build visions, grow brands, and create opportunities that didn’t exist before. I didn’t just build myself — I’ve helped lift others along the way.

People rarely see the real labor behind content creation. They don’t see the all-nighters, the deadlines, the pressure of carrying an entire brand alone. They don’t see the emotional weight of turning your story into art. This is a real job, one that demands skill, strategy, consistency, and heart. And I chose it not because it was easy, but because it was mine.

I always knew I wasn’t meant for corporate America. I wasn’t made to clock in for another person’s dream. My purpose has always been tied to legacy — something that outlives trends and keeps my name rooted in purpose. I had to ask myself: how can I leave a legacy if I spend my life trapped inside someone else’s system? That question pushed me into full-time content creation. I’m not chasing fame. I’m building longevity.

My journey took a major turn when I crossed paths with Thunder Walker — a powerhouse known for her energy, her vision, and her impact across cannabis, education, and culture. Before I met her, I had talent and ambition, but I was still shaping my direction. Thunder saw something deeper — my eye, my discipline, my leadership — and she challenged me to step into a role bigger than myself.

Through her mentorship and trust, I became the Executive of the ThunderKats, a dynamic collective of creators, influencers, storytellers, and entrepreneurs aligned with The Thunder Walker Experience and Proud Mary Cannabis. Thunder didn’t just give me a title; she gave me responsibility. I became the one who keeps the group structured, aligns communication, oversees branding, manages projects, and ensures everything reflects her vision with excellence. I learned that leadership isn’t about control — it’s about accountability, consistency, and protecting the standard.

From traveling to New Jersey, New York, Los Angeles, Reno, Miami, and now MJBizCon, this experience has elevated my creativity and my mindset. Everywhere we go, people pay attention. Some try to imitate what we do, but they can’t replicate the precision, intention, and execution behind it. That’s the difference between inspiration and authenticity.

Working this closely with Thunder taught me to think bigger, move smarter, and create work rooted in purpose. She expanded my understanding of cannabis culture, branding, relationships, and leadership. She didn’t just help me grow as a creator — she helped me grow as a man.

This journey is no longer just about content for me. It’s about creating legacy. It’s about building community. It’s about helping others shine as brightly as I do.

Because when Thunder leads

and the ThunderKats arrive…

who’s going to stop us?

Nobody.

At the end of the day, my rise as a creator isn’t defined by who tried to copy me or who doubted me — it’s defined by how relentlessly I chose to keep growing. Every challenge, every late night, every lesson, and every step into leadership shaped me into the creator I’m becoming. If there is one thing I want every reader to take from my story, it’s this: protect your creativity, honor your gift, and never shrink your vision for anyone. I’m building something with purpose, with longevity, and with intention — and I’m only getting started.
